Romantic Atrocities is a multimedia story following two best friends and a road trip they take together in 1997 from Kansas City, Missouri to Virginia Beach, Virginia.
It follows the idea of a lifeline – as in the things that tether us to safety – and the push and pull between the lifeline and the person it rescues.
But what happens when your lifeline was accepted to a far away college?
It is about falling in love. Told in song, prose, poetry, comic, and the ephemera surrounding their trip.

The Madness Intersection: Ritual Reality, Modern Bacchanalia, and the Devilman by Prof. Asuka is a fictitious thesis draft by the eponymous Professor Asuka, father of Ryo Asuka, a main character in the 1972 manga Devilman, by Go Nagai.
This work presents itself as a near-final draft of textually referenced academic research about demons and varying natures of demonic possession, which is presented in Devilman early on.
Using shoddy theology and ethically questionable methods, the Madness Intersection approximates what could have been the research of Prof. Asuka, with (mostly) real-life references available to 1972 contemporaries.
